I wish I had the words to say what we have lost, A man who meant so much to all that his life touched. I know you’re looking down on me And I know we’ll meet again, But right now I really miss you Maybe time will ease this pain. I have so many memories That I cherish every day, From sleeping over on Saturdays Or in Holly cottage for a play. You were the one who always guided me, Your love and care were clear. I never thought this day would come And so I shed a silent tear.
